Here’s a sample of my first book, Shadows of Light, from Evernight:

Matthew
Rose is a reclusive psychic on the run from a mad psychologist. Held captive
and exploited as a child because of his ability to connect minds with serial
killers, all Matt wants now is to be free of his visions. His desire for peace
is shattered when he sees the woman from his most recent vision lying in a pool
of blood.
Adam
Rivers, the homicide detective assigned to the murdered woman’s case, quickly
realizes Matt is more than a witness. Adam fights his attraction to Matt
because he doesn’t see himself as gay.
As the
murders mount, Matt and Adam work together to defeat the killer—unaware that
the mad psychologist from Matt’s past has returned and is determined to reclaim
his prize. Can Adam keep Matt safe from the danger that surrounds him or will
he lose the man he is just now realizing he loves?
Excerpt
Adam walked out of the bathroom with
a towel wrapped around his waist. He’d obviously just gotten out of the shower
because his skin glistened.
I watched, mesmerized as a water
droplet began its slow, delicious descent from his neck, to his surprisingly
hairless chest, past the fresh bandage a nurse had just applied before leaving
the room, and down his very sexy six-pack, to the intriguing treasure trail to
disappear into the towel.
I licked dry lips, vaguely aware of
the increase in my heart rate and choppy breathing. The only thing I could
think of was following the trail of the water droplet.
Oh my, I breathed.
Adam’s towel began to tent as I
watched. Drawn like a bee to honey, I was halfway to Adam before I became aware
of it. I stopped in front of him, nervous, and reached out a hand laying my
palm on his chest. My heart was pounding as I touched an erect, brown nipple.
Adam groaned and grabbed my wrist. I
looked up at him, dazed. His lips moved but I was beyond hearing.
Must taste. The urge obliterated
everything else.
I stood on tiptoe, grabbed a handful
of his dark hair, and yanked his mouth to mine. Delighted moans filled the
silent room. Adam wrapped an arm around my waist and yanked me into all that
hard male strength. My knees buckled and my erection stretched within the
confines of my jeans.
Adam licked into my open mouth, his
tongue chasing and dominating mine. I shuddered at the heat smoldering inside
me. Pleasure flowed, heightening sensitive nerve endings. I pressed further
into Adam, trying to get as close as possible. His hands journeyed from my hips
to my bottom, kneading.
Oh god!
It was the hottest thing I had ever
felt. A whimper escaped and I felt Adam’s groan vibrate in his chest. Pre-cum
leaked from my cock. I rubbed it against his stomach to help alleviate the
pain. I’d never been so turned on in my life and it was exhilarating. I felt as
if I was flying and free-falling simultaneously through a pit of molten lava.
Adam twined his tongue around mine,
trapping it. His tongue tasted every crevice in my mouth, leaving no part
unattended. His kiss left me feeling ravished and the feeling became addictive.
I broke our kiss to gulp fresh air.
Adam rumbled his protest and one of his hands left my butt to grab a handful of
my hair and jerked me back to his lips. I had never felt so needed before in my
life and I melted into the kiss, my surrender complete. Adam snarled his
approval and tightened his grip. He staggered us to the bed. I felt him wince
and pulled back from our kiss.
“Maybe we should—” I began before
Adam claimed my lips again.
I looked down as he laid me on the
bed. Oh wow! Adam’s towel had slid to
the floor and he was enormous. His cock had to be at least eight and a half
inches long and he was thick. The mushroom-shaped tip was an angry red,
pointing straight toward me as if in silent accusation.
Fear shot through me and I scrambled
backward on the bed. What the heck do you
think you’re going to do with that thing? I shouted at him through our
bond. There was no way I was letting him get within six feet of me with that
monster leering at me.
Adam laughed and grabbed my ankles
to keep me from kicking him. He dragged me toward him spreading my thighs so he
stood between my splayed legs. He leaned down and nuzzled my neck before
placing a soft kiss there. Despite my fear, I shivered in reaction.
Is this your first time, baby? he whispered,
using our bond. Goose bumps pebbled my skin. His voice was just so…sexy and
using telepathy heightened its appeal.
I grabbed a handful of his hair and
buried my face in his neck. Shyness had overcome me and I found it difficult to
meet his gaze. My gift and the threat of Dr. Johannasan wouldn’t let me get
close to anyone. Plus I didn’t trust anyone enough to try.
Adam lifted his head and the fierce
possessiveness seared me in place. Good,
he growled. Adam lowered his head to kiss me again.

Prologue
One thousand years ago...
Metal clanked in the forested
battlefield. Vacant eyes stared up at Ayden, aeshent vampire, as he slashed through another enemy. The Aeshent felt his heart break. No matter
the time period, there had been war. He longed for peace. He longed for a place
to raise his family without fear of assassination.
Teleporting behind an Amazon who
had a comrade boxed in between her and another, he raised his sword and
decapitated her, ignoring the blood spatter that sprayed his face and clothing.
His comrade nodded his thankvs before quickly disposing of his enemy.
Inclining his head in response,
Ayden motioned his comrade to a clearing on the outer edges of the forest.
Once there, Ayden glanced
around, heart heavy at the blood staining what was once a lush valley filled
with greenery and beautiful flowers. "Too many good men have been lost in
this war. It must be resolved if our children are to have a safe
environment."
"It doesn't matter when it
began. We must focus ontgjjghjjjhg
the end. I have an idea, but I need your h
elp if we are to succeed."
the end. I have an idea, but I need your h
elp if we are to succeed."
"Anything, Sire. I will do
anything for you," Connell vowed fervently.
Ayden nodded his thanks. He knew
Connell and many others would follow him into hell if he asked it of them. He
was one of the Aeshent vampires alive
and one of the rare ones who protected and trained ikspireous or fledgling vampires. Though vampires were solitary
creatures and had no need of clans, Ayden had one of the largest.
Tales of his honor and bravery
had spread, bringing many ikspireous to
his door, hoping he would train them. Some left after training but the majority
stayed, pledging fealty to Ayden. Ayden hoped his reputation would aid his attempt
to bring peace.
"You and I will make
contact with each leader of the paranormal community. We wish to declare a
truce."
"Sire! I'll be slaughtered
before I even set foot into anyone's stronghold," Connell argued.
Ayden placed a comforting hand
on his shoulder. "You will wear this ring. My family crest is engraved
upon it and will see you have safe passage to deliver my message."
Ayden pulled a thick gold ring,
with a rounded face engraved with an image of a Quelili devouring the head of a
goat.
Connell nodded. "Where
shall I begin?"
"The Fae. I'll start with
the Wolves."
Chapter 1
Glancing around the battlefield,
Ayden asked Connell, "Is this everyone?"
Connell nodded. "Everyone
but the Magiqui and Gargoyles."
Ayden smiled in satisfaction.
Everyone they had contacted was here. He was not surprised the magical people
and the Gargoyles had opted not to come. This was a Nonhuman war so the magical
people would not get involved and the Gargoyles preferred to remain neutral and
keep to themselves. Their brute strength would have made them good allies, but
Ayden could deal with their loss if he could gain the alliance of the wolves.
Walking into the center of the
clearing, Ayden cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention, "Thank
you all for agreeing to meet with me."
Soft murmurs arose from the
crowd and Ayden continued, "The purpose of this meeting is to discuss ways
to bring peace. I suggest we all sign a truce treaty."
"Why would I sign anything
with a blood sucker?" Leo, a wolf growled. Mikhail, the wolf clan leader
and father to Micah, laid a restraining hand on Leo's arm and nodded for Ayden
to continue.
Ayden inclined his head in
thanks and continued. "I know a treaty alone will not dissolve the
distrust sown throughout these many years. I propose some type of permanent
alliance where we all come together to discuss possible...situations that could
arise to cause war again," Ayden continued.
"Do you mean a type of
council?" Fiona, leader of the Fae asked.
"Yes, exactly," Ayden
said after carefully considering the word.
"How would this work?"
she asked.
"Each group represented
here will select and send a diplomat to each meeting. All groups are to bring
news of potential treaty breakers to each meeting."
"How will the meetings be
called? Who will call these meetings?" Lucian, leader of the Leopard
changelings, asked.
"We will appoint a leader
who will be called the 'High Councilor'." Murmurs ran throughout the
crowd.
"I suppose you have someone
in mind?" Eric, a fellow vampire asked.
"It makes sense if I take
this position. I have a strong desire to make these alliances work and my
reputation speaks for itself," Ayden replied.
Strong vocal denials ran
throughout the crowd and Ayden raised a hand for silence. Ayden pondered his options
while waiting for everyone to quiet down.
"I will take the position
of High Councilor," Tayla, leader of the Amazons announced. More denials
rang throughout the forest.
"Silence!" Ayden
commanded.
"We will hold a tournament
in one week's time. The winner will be declared High Councilor," Ayden
continued. Excited chatter filled the air as Ayden made his way to Connell.
"Excellent idea on the
tournament Sire. There is no one stronger," Connell said.
"There will always be
someone who's stronger; I have to be more cunning."
"You will be," Connell
said confidently.
Ayden clapped him on the
shoulder in thanks as they turned to leave the clearing. "Come, we have a
tournament to plan..."http://www.linkytools.com/basic_linky_include.aspx?id=209731

Feel Free to Stalk here:
Greed and Lust.
I want to talk about the villain in
my book Mated Forever.
Malachi, the son of an Alpha is
determined to get Jorie. They spelt together and she now has decided she does
not want him. How can she? He is after all going to be the next Alpha to the
pack. But is it just lust that drives him on to pursue Jorie or could there be
more. Often the flip side of Lust is Greed and in this case it is certainly the
partner of Lust.
How does this fit in? Malachi is
going to be Alpha…there are not pretenders to that throne…so why is Jorie so
important to his plan?
I will say nothing more but I'll
leave you with the blurb and a quick taste!
Mated
Forever by Michaela Rhua
The full moon is always
a time for danger and mating. This month it brings the scent of Louisa's mate.
Jorie is on the run and in grave danger. Being rescued by Louisa brings safety
and a new temptation. As the girls act on their feelings, and passion overtakes
them, they are unaware of the danger surrounding them both. When Jorie is
kidnapped, it's a race against time. Will Louisa be able to save her mate, or
will the past and all its secrets destroy them before they even have a chance
at forever?
Excerpt
"I am so sorry to draw you into all this Lou, I …
I didn't mean for it to get this far." Jorie put down the hot mug on the
table next to the sofa.
"It's okay. I asked you to stay, you didn't force
this on me, so chill," Lou said. "Anyway, I'm going to take a
shower."
Lou got up from the sofa and disappeared into the
bedroom.
Damn it! Jorie kicked
herself mentally. Why did I not just do
what I wanted to, just touch her. She knew exactly how she felt about Lou.
She wanted her as a lover and mate. Things were so complicated now. Sleeping
with Malachi had been a colossal error. Every time she looked into Lou’s
beautiful brown eyes something melted inside.
The noise of the shower interrupted her thoughts.
Jorie fisted her hands and gritted her teeth. Then, with decisive steps, she
walked through the bedroom to the bathroom. The door was ajar, almost inviting
her in. Once inside, the hot steam fogged her vision. Her eyes adjusted
quickly, and she made out water cascading over golden brown skin. Rivulets
journeyed their way down the perfect body, which was all curves. Jorie wanted
to stroke Lou’s round ass, and kiss it all over. She stretched out her hands.
Her skin tightened, and heat radiated throughout her body. She knew exactly
what was happening. Her wolf begged to be let out to play with her mate.
Breathing deeply, Jorie stepped forward. The steam
cleared at little more and Lou turned around. Jorie stared at Lou's round
breasts topped off with dark chocolate nipples, and licked her lips. Lou
glanced up. Her eyes deepened then a ring of copper formed around her pupils.
Lou continued to soap her body. Jorie watched Lou's hand circle down to her
bare pussy with the sponge. Her own pussy ached with need. Lou dropped the
sponge and leaned her body into the water, washing the suds off her skin. Jorie
wanted to touch her so badly.
Lou turned off the water, and stepped out of the
shower. Jorie took a deep breath, trying to get her wolf under control. She wanted
Lou in human form, to delight in her body. In her wolf form it would be
fucking. Her animal instincts would take over like it had with Malachi. There
had been little tenderness. When he’d realized she was willing, it became all
about taking her quickly. The act had been painful and cold. Where she’d wanted
to take it slow, this would be about making love. She wanted to experience
love, an all-consuming love. Tender and soft, not hard and fast.
"You're so beautiful, Lou. I want you so much.
I've never felt this way before," Jorie whispered.
"I want you, too, Jorie. Only if you’re
sure?" Lou gave her a tentative smile.
"Yes, so sure, like never before," Jorie
said.
Jorie unbuttoned her shirt. Lou came closer still,
helping Jorie to release her arms. Warm hands massaged her breasts. Jorie
untwisted Lou's hair and let those dark curls loose. They were silky smooth,
and Jorie massaged Lou's head then cupped her face.
Their lips met. Heat surged through Jorie, the air hot
and heavy. Lou pushed her toward the bedroom. Jorie delved deeply into Lou's
mouth with her tongue, tasting and licking. Her beast growled with delight.
This was good, this was right.
"You taste so good, Lou," she said.
Lou pushed her onto the bed then stood over her. A
flicker of hesitation registered in her eyes. Jorie undid her jeans, ridding
herself of any clothing to reassure Lou this was what she wanted. Words were
irrelevant. Lou seemed like watching her strip because intensity deepened her
gaze. Once bare, Jorie sat up and held out her hand. Nothing happened. Lou
looked at the offered hand. Afraid Lou would back away, Jorie slowly opened her
legs. She wasn’t fully bare as Lou, but she hoped Lou would understand.
"I can't wait, Jorie, I have to taste you."
Lou licked her lips.
She watched Lou lower her head and inhale the scent of
her arousal. Lou growled then pounced on her.
"Get ready, honey." Lou winked.
Michaela Rhua always dreamed of writing but
this never happened until she met the lovely group of ladies known as UCW.
Their passion for writing and encouragement inspired her to see if she could do
it too. Now she loves writing!
She has teenage children and a husband, who
also keep her busy. However, it is whilst travelling into work that she has
time to create her characters and imagine other places in which they exist as
her world skims by the window. Conversations overheard often lead to the birth
of new ideas that she scribbles down in her trusty notebook.
Michaela is a multi-published author with
Breathless Press, Evernight Publishing and a self-published anthology with
authors from The Nuthouse Scribblers.

EXCERPT
#1
“Why choking?”
Her throat worked. It took a while, but
she finally answered in a voice so low, he had to lean forward to catch the
words. “It’s the only way I can get aroused. The way I can reach climax.”
Wringing her wrists, she looked away.
Jud stared at her, at the forlorn
expression on her face. He recalled the shame and pain in her eyes when she’d
made her proposal. “Remove the scarf.” He made his voice hard, harsh, issuing
the command that brooked nothing other than immediate compliance.
She obeyed, but didn’t look at him.
Despite her skin color, he had no problem seeing the thick dark bruise that
wrapped all the way around her neck like a collar. He got to his feet and went
to her, dropping on his knees when she made room for him.
“What made this?” He touched her skin
with the pad of a hesitant finger.
She inhaled sharply. “Leather belt.” She
shook violently. “He buckled it around me and pulled.” Her voice dropped to a
thin thread of sound, shuddering. “He pulled on it as I sucked him, as he
fucked me.”
He cursed viciously.
“No. I wanted it. It’s what I want, Jud.
It’s what I need.”
“Fuck.” He palmed her throat lightly.
She trembled for him, wide eyes holding him in place. He applied a little
pressure. “This, Elliot? This is what you want?”
“Yes.” She hissed and shifted, legs
falling open. He got a whiff of it, her arousal, wafting to him from her parted
thighs. “Jud.”
He squeezed her again, harder this time.
Her pupils dilated. “I’ve decided to take you up on your proposal, Elliot.”
The pulse under his palm galloped. Her
scent grew deeper, sharper. He leaned forward and nuzzled her cheek, ignoring
his own hard dick pressing against his zipper. There’d be some marks on his
flesh later, no doubt.
“I’ll give you what you need,” he
whispered to her, loving the way she shuddered. “Only me,” he growled, “no one
else.”
EXCERPT #2
“What do you want, Jud?” Steel crept
back into her tone.
“Two things actually.” The words
surprised him. He hadn’t known he wanted more until that moment. “There will be
more than me choking you into orgasm. I’ll be fucking you, using you, and most
importantly, making love to you.”
The frown said she didn’t get it.
“We’ll see each other outside of the
bedroom, Elliot. Go to dinner, do the usual dating stuff.”
She shook her head sharply. “No.”
“Yes.”
“Jud, I don’t date.” She sounded
stressed. “I can’t.”
“Why, because you need a bully in the
bedroom?” He lifted a brow. “In case you haven’t noticed, I’m here, agreeing to
be that. But I also want to know you.” He paused. “That’s the second thing.”
“What is?”
“I’m asking, no scratch that.” He sliced
a hand through the air. “I’m telling you that one day I’ll ask you why, and
you’ll answer me. With the truth.”
“No!” She jumped to her feet. “I won’t.”
She tried to move away. He grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against
the wall.
She froze.
“It’s not up for debate, Elliot.
Non-negotiable.” He brought his face up to hers, pressed their foreheads
together as he pushed his erection against her soft center. Her lashes
fluttered, her panting breaths battered his face. She smelled good, like
strawberries, lemons, and orgasms. “I’ll ask, sugar, not now, but soon, and
you’ll answer with the truth.” He bit her shoulder. “Got me?”
She nodded.
He touched her hip then slid his hand
down and up her skirt, caressing first one, then the other ass cheek before
dipping a finger in the valley between. “Say ‘yes, Jud.’”
Breath shuddered out between her lips.
“Yes, Jud.”
“Good.” He took her mouth hard,
thrusting his tongue deep while teasing her ass with one finger. She moaned, a
pretty sound he wanted to hear again and again. He pushed a thumb to her soaked
pussy, getting it nice and slick then moved backward to her ass. He worked the
wet finger into her rear entrance. She clutched his shoulders and shook.
She was a sensual creature once one got
to the heart of her, got to know what made her tick. With one hand wrapped
around her throat, he fucked her ass. He didn’t even have to apply any pressure
to get her dripping. He kissed her, grinding his cock on her, groaning into her
mouth when she touched him with the tip of her tongue, tentative swipes that
made him smile in his head. His finger was up her ass, and he had his hand
around her throat. Hell, he’d choked her to orgasm only minutes before, but his
kisses made her cautious.
A contradiction, that Elliot Lively. He
wanted to figure her out, wanted to know what made her the person she was. And
he’d just bought himself enough time to do so.

Hey everyone, Let's welcome the sensational Tali Spencer, author of Thick as Thieves
That First Book
All published writers start with that first book. You know
the one. The one you poured your hopes and dreams and imagination into. The one
an editor at a publishing house liked, really liked, and now it’s being
published. The one you really—really—hope readers will like, but you don’t know
yet and the suspense nearly kills you until the day it does come out. And then
your life changes.
That book changes your life.
Because with that book you earn your stripes as a pro. You
become not just a writer, something you may have been for a long time writing
for yourself or a small audience, but a writer who has taken the step of
putting work out in the mass market. And make no mistake: that’s a damn big
step.
The first book a writer publishes is not just a book. It’s a
lesson. It becomes the writer’s vehicle for learning everything she never knew
about what’s involved in turning a manuscript into a finished product for the
marketplace. Whether self-published or through a publisher, the writer learns
about editing for content and grammar, about formatting, blurbs, cover art,
markets, pricing, positioning, and reviews. Part of this education is learning
how to work either with editors and artists, if with a publisher, or learning
to do or arrange all these things—and more—for themselves. It’s a huge learning
curve and it all starts with that first book.
That first book teaches the writer that getting published is
a business. It’s a fascinating business, too, filled with new players and
rules. Watching your words being turned from a protected egg of a story into a
full-fledged book set loose to fly in the marketplace is an amazing journey.
And it’s amazing every time.
After the first book, most writers go on to write another.
And they embark on the journey all over again, and it never gets old. Sending a
book out into the world is an act of faith, pride, and joy.
With that first book, the writer becomes an author.
My first book is now long out of print, but I would like to
share a blurb and excerpt from my new sword and sorcery M/M release, Thick as Thieves.
Blurb:
After Vorgell the barbarian fucks himself with a unicorn
horn, he ends up in a cell with Maddog, a pretty young thief. It’s lust at
first sight for Vorgell—but honestly, he can’t help it. Unicorn horn is a
potent aphrodisiac, and now he can’t stop thinking about sex. Luckily, Madd is
one male witch who knows how to put Vorgell’s new magical body to good use when
he tricks Vorgell into a kiss that helps them escape.
Vorgell may desire sex in general—and Madd in particular—but
Madd has no intention of being screwed by a man twice his size. He has problems
of his own, including an enchanted collar that causes him to desire his most
hated enemy. He wants that collar off as soon as possible, but that requires
stealing a basilisk egg from the castle they just escaped.
Drawn together by lust and magic, the two men join forces
and soon find themselves up to their necks in witches, wizards, and trouble.
Vorgell and Madd might just be perfect for each other, but first they have to
survive long enough to find out.
Excerpt:
Vorgell had no sooner yanked Madd through the vortex and
into the alley than the little guy fought free of his grip and turned back,
tracing a darkly glowing sign in the air. A baying hound burst through, bowling
Madd over just before the dark hole vanished, revealing a plain wall of
mold-blackened bricks. The barking dog crouched, prepared to leap. Vorgell rose
to full height. Expanding his chest and flexing his arms to make himself look
even bigger, he showed his teeth and roared. The dog yelped and fled down the
alley.
“I’m glad the dog didn’t get stuck in there,” he said to
Madd, who was panting and sitting in stunned relief in a puddle.
“The dog? What
about me!” He got to his feet, shaking out his cloak.
“I pulled you through, didn’t I? So where are we?” Night had
fallen, and the alleyway in which they stood was narrow and dark. What stray
bits of light infiltrated the passage revealed grim stone walls, dripping
eaves, and gutters filled with debris.
“Gurgh. Or more to the point, Rattail Alley in Sewerside.”
“You brought us to the city? I went to the wilderness to get
away from here —”
“Doesn’t matter. You’re here now.” Madd began walking
through the gloom toward a half-toppled archway at one end of the alley. “Well,
are you coming or not?”
Vorgell glanced down his body. He’d lost his trousers and
loincloth back in the forest and his nakedness was sure to draw attention.
“No,” he said, “I think I’ll stay here.”
Madd stopped walking and snapped around to glare in warning.
“The fucking baron is after you, and—”
“I thought he was after you.
After all, you escaped.”
“And took you with me.” Madd frowned, his dark gaze
traveling down Vorgell’s body and taking in his state of undress. “I guess
we’ll have to find you some clothes.”
Vorgell liked that idea. “You could just hand me your
cloak.”
“No!” Madd clutched the garment closed at the throat.
“We’ll… find you something else.” He sighed. “You don’t get it, do you? We need
to disappear. You consumed an entire unicorn horn, and—”
“And I’m horny all the time now. I know.” As if to confirm that point, Vorgell’s cock twitched and
plumped at the sight of his companion. Even wrapped in shadows and with a water
stain from the puddle on his ass, Madd was bewitching. Vorgell’s blood warmed
just to look at him. “But I don’t see what that has to do with—”
“Are you really so gods-addled clueless? A mere sliver of
unicorn horn makes a man horny for days. You consumed the entire horn! You filled your gargantuan body with so much fucking
unicorn magic you’re now a walking, talking reservoir of enchantment! And
you’re not a magician, are you? You’re like a toad sitting on gold coins! You
can’t get rid of your pot of gold because you don’t know how to use it!”
Vorgell blinked at the little guy’s rage, struggling to see
past the fact that Madd looked unbearably cute when he gestured and paced and
sputtered. So cute Vorgell wanted to push him against the moldy wall and
silence him with kisses while he pushed his cock against that delectable, lithe
body. He fought to keep focus as his cock stiffened to full engorgement.
“I can do magic?”
Madd rolled his eyes. “No. You fucking are magic. Like a unicorn. Your blood, your bones, every living
part of you, is filled with the shit.” He sighed. “Why the hell do you think I
bit you in the tower, except to get at the magic? Or sucked your cock just now?
Which, by the way,” he added, “I don’t plan on doing regularly.”
“But you’re good at it. And, well, I thought—” But then he
realized he hadn’t been thinking for some days. It was time to start doing it.
“So you are using me?”
Madd looked him in the eye. “Yes. And you’re fortunate in
that. Because although I’m not a particularly good magician, I’m much more
ethical than the baron or his like. Or any of the Wizards’ Guild. That lot
would be bleeding you by now and amputating toes to suck on for a little extra
spell power.”
Vorgell considered this. He distrusted magic users. He also
knew a thing or two about unscrupulous men and could be one himself when the
situation demanded. He hadn’t carried Madd away from their prison out of
gratitude, but for purposes of ravishment. The latter still sounded like a good
idea.
Author Bio:
Tali Spencer fell in love with writing at an early age and
never stopped. Thanks to a restless father, she grew up as a bit of a nomad and
still loves to travel whenever she can. Her longest stint in one place was
Milwaukee where she went to college and enjoyed a series of interesting careers
including respiratory therapist, airport executive, and raising three
surprisingly well-adjusted sons. She later married her true love and put down
new roots in Philadelphia, where she lives in an ongoing Italian American family
sitcom. At least she’s learned how make good pasta. When not writing, Tali
reads everything from sweet goofy romances to Lebanese cookbooks, manages her
fantasy football team—go Gekkos!—and takes long walks with her loving, if
slightly neurotic, poodle.
